"I have been lucky enough to explore parts of the coast of British Columbia and Alaska by float plane. We fly low enough to appreciate the details of the cliffs, islands and forests, visiting places with our eyes that we could never dream of visiting with our eyes that we could never dream of visiting with our feet. In fact, we fly at eagle height. We can, for a time, be an eagle, scanning the land below. However, our eyes don't compare to those of an eagle for sharpness. But, for a short while, I feel privileged to be given eagle wings, if only in my imagination."
